This is a 1970s Ventura Semihollow. All original parts except the nut, pickups, and frets.
I am a professional luthier based out of New Braunfels Texas and I have rebuilt this guitar from the ground up.
I have:
-reshaped and refit the Mortise tenon
-defret the Board and reradiused it to 9.5”
-leveled out any dips or twists
-Replaced the truss rod nut with a 5mm nut
-fretted the board with Tallest/super jumbo Evo Gold fretwire. .108” x .055”
-cleaned out the pots And switch
-Polished the finish
-Made a new Bone Nut from scratch
-Fully releveled the Nut seating slot on the neck
-and set it up with low action (1.5mm Bass-1.25mm Treble) with 10-46 gauge Ernie ball strings.
This is an awesome Vintage Japanese guitar with zero of the less-awesome vintage Japanese guitar problems
it’s a solid Flamed Maple top and back, 5 Piece maple neck (Quartersawn lumber), with original vintage Deluxe style tuners.
This thing is tour or studio ready and will be shipped with a padded gig bag.
