1973 Hand Made K Yairi YW400 Acoustic Guitar, very early model

Japan Vintage

This is K.Yairi's YW-400, a rare early label used only around 1973. It features a nice herringbone binding and purfling. Unfortunately, there is some discoloration on the headstock. Being around 50 years old, there are a few scratches and dents, but considering its age, it's in good condition and looks clean.

43mm nut width and soft V neck profile, Action is good 2.5mm and 2mm@12F

K Yairi YW400 made in 1973 has Semi Solid Spruce Top (same config. as Yamaha FG180 Red Label), Ebony Fret Board and Bridge, Laminated Rosewood Body and Mahogany neck

Body is Dreadnought size and is making a lovely and deeply balanced sound

Tuners are replaced with vintage MIJ Greco Rotomatic type

• Many small dings and pick marks on top but cosmetic issue only
• Body side and back has some scratches and scuffs
• Capo marks on back of neck
• Head stock has cloud in finish as aged process and looks good
• Lower fret board has some play wear
