Fun little instrument. I think we're looking at a closet classic here. Shows almost no signs of wear, despite being 60+ years old. Looks like it was sold in Durban, South Africa at some point, though I doubt it was the original sale. 12" scale. About 23" end-to-end. Neck is straight, action is low, frets show no wear, head is pretty clean. There's some fret sprout from dry conditions. Currently humidifying. There are minor dings and dents throughout (worst offenders pictured) and some patina on the hardware. Just restrung with Martins, polished the frets, and conditioned the fretboard. Doesn't need any major restoration but would benefit from a proper setup. I just roughed one out. Comes in the original case, which is one of the more solid chipboard cases I've seen. Still not gig-worthy in my opinion. Includes wrench for the tension hoops. Case shows cosmetic wear. Ships to lower 48. No international. No trades.
Return policy: happy to take a return if the item doesn't match the description&photos. If there's shipping damage we'll get it sorted quickly. But I can't take any more "bought this by mistake" returns. One-man operation here. The last straw was a guy who complained an item was "in too good condition". Anyway, please triple check your order before purchasing. Thanks for understanding.
