This is a 1956 Grestch Corvette in the rare and desirable “Ivory Green” finish. The pictures do not do it justice, the finish is absolutely beautiful in person and truly stands out in any setting. The original Dynasonic pickup sounds incredibly warm and fat while maintaining a clear and almost “hi-fi” sound that can only come from DeArmond. This is a very fun and easy guitar to play, both acoustic and electric.
This guitar has an old headstock repair that is extremely solid and not going anywhere. The neck is nice and straight. Additionally, the neck angle is very good and does not need a reset. The heel does have some minor separation that does not affect the neck angle and may be from an old neck reset. The guitar plays very good with nice low action and plenty of room for adjustment, the truss rod is fully functional. There are some minor blemishes typical of a guitar this age, such as nicks, scratches, scuffs, and finish discoloration.
Ships in a non-original chipboard or soft case.
