Gretsch 6186 Clipper

Year: 1960s

Color: Sunburst

Origin: Brooklyn, NY, USA

Pickup: Original Hi/Lo Tron Gretsch pickup

Case: Non-gig bag is included

Modifications/Repairs: None

Cosmetic Condition: Good (-) This Gretsch suffers from the binding rot issue that so many 1960s Gretsch's suffer some wear to the finish on the back of the neck, a break in the corner of the pickguard and some other smaller marks, dings. 6.5 out of 10 condition

Operational Condition: Fully-Functioning including all electronics, smooth tuners, truss rod, etc.

Description: Here's a great-playing 1960s Gretsch that has a really lovely and somewhat raw tone full of rich overtones and a woody, dry voice. The binding is well..pretty trashed but the whole package has a pretty incredible patina to it and is just begging for some cool mods like a Bigsby and second pickup. It needs none of that though as it has a great vibe and tone just as it is.
