PJ pickup setup on an alembic bass. These retailed for 6-7k back in the 80’s
It’s got some dinks and a sizeable bruise by the pick up jack (pictured) but it’s been played with love. Regularly checked out for neck bowing/intonation/etc with a luthier, and plays really well. Active electronics and big sound for all of your funk, fusion, or phil lesh aspirations. This bass can do it all and sounds warm, wooly and heavy behind a band, and solos really well with a clean and pretty tone up high. Solid for chords too.
Let me know any questions and this is the cheapest Alembic Persuader/spoiler I’m seeing on reverb at this moment.
Comes with hard shell case (possibly original)
Let me know if you’re in New york City and would like to test it out before purchasing, Im located in Brooklyn.
