2015 Darren Hippner Miguel Rodriguez Style Brazilian Rosewood Classical Guitar

Here is an excellent condition, 2015 Darren Hippner Rodriguez Concert Classical Guitar.

This is a high level concert classical guitar. It was hand-built by Darren Hippner in his Point Roberts, Washington workshop.

This particular guitar was built with the Miguel Rodriguez bracing pattern for the top combined with a raised fretboard, like Darren's Helion model guitars. There are cedar linings along the sides, to increase note clarity. There are also port holes for better listening by the guitarist.

This hand-crafted guitar was built using solid Brazilian Rosewood for the back and sides, a Cedar neck and a Cedar top. The outer binding and head stock front and back cap are made using Brazilian rosewood in the Rodriguez "Church Door" style as an homage. The guitar has a beautiful rosette with alternating colors.

There were surface cracks (not through) in the sides of this guitar that have been professionally repaired. There were no cracks in the back or top of this guitar.

Scale length on this guitar is 650 millimeters. Nut width is 53 millimeters. The ebony fretboard and frets are in very good condition. The frets have just been polished. Action on the 12th fret low E string is 3.5 millimeters and the 12th fret high E string measures 3.5 millimeters.

This guitar is equipped with top quality Rubner tuning keys. They are smooth and hold tune well.

The label designates this as a Rodriguez model.

The guitar will be carefully packed and shipped in a good condition hard shell case.
