Old'sCool Amplification BF-50

Power scaled clone of the rare "Black Flag " JTM 50. Hammond trannies, hand wired on a turret board featuring EL34 power tubes and a GZ34 rectifier (JJ). Updated with Metro-Amp's no loss effects loop. A transitional late 66'-67' amp being the first 50 watt coming after the successful JTM 45 and before the "Plexi". More aggressive than a 45 but not as explosive as a "Plexi" making it ideal for a more bluesy/classic Rock sound. London Power: power scaling is utilized by dialing in any power level from down to 1 watt to full power and anywhere in between along with a unique master volume that achieves power tube overdrive at any volume. By running the amp at various power ratings, clean headroom characteristics are maintained; I.E lower rating= less clean headroom etc. All housed in a 26" birch cabinet that weighs in at 30 lbs. Standard 2yr. transferable warranty covering all components and build quality (excluding tubes).
