Today, for your consideration - a 1998 Ampeg Dan Armstrong lucite reissue bass! The original Dan Armstrong lucite basses were awesome, and we believe that the reissues are even better because they don’t come with quite so many years of wear and tear. They also came in this brilliant smoke finish. This example has been tinkered with in some interesting ways. The original fretted fingerboard was replaced with a gorgeous piece of rosewood and the tone control was replaced with a 5-position varitone. The action is insanely low and the bass has a really beautiful vocal character to its tone. A non-original high quality gig bag is included.
