1994 Gibson Centennial Collection 1933 L-Century #98/100 "Sunburst"

In 1994, Gibson released a collection of masterbuilt reissues of their most iconic models to celebrate their 100th year of business. Only 100 of each model were made, and we're proud to offer #98/100 of the 1933 L-Century of Progress run. The original L-Century model was built to celebrate Chicago's 100th birthday and was displayed at the 1933 World's Fair, and this reissue holds fast to the original's specs. The 3-piece V-profile neck is adorned with the iconic pearloid fingerboard and headstock, rosewood and pearl inlays, pearl truss rod cover, and vintage-style Waverly tuners. Other appointments include figured maple back and sides, bone nut and saddle, and the "Centennial Special" sterling silver plaque on the back of the headstock.
