So what exactly is 'THE TRUTH' at KBW? These are instruments that have been played to death but never abused, have the magic tone and play outstanding. Less than 1/2 of 1% get this moniker. Great basses get played and this is no exception. The wear is all natural from being gigged heavily. No artificial relic job here. Never abused and very well cared for. Played with flats for ever and the frets are in really nice shape with lots of meat left on them. With the exception of a new output jack spliced in, theres no work done to this guitar and none needed. 9.4 lbs. Has the functioning orig Gibson hard case but it is in the same shape as the bass. It will do the job. The tone - this is the bass for guys who want the modern Tbird tone but not the cumbersome Tbird body. Has the same pick ups as a Tbird BUT has a V/V/T/T harness as opposed to the V/V/T on the 'bird. This is a RnR monster. Just played old Slade, Mott and Humble Pie thru my blue line SVT and I'll tell ya, its THAT bass.
