This Rob Allen Mouse 30″ Maple Short Scale Lined Fretless features a semi-hollow alder body, and a flame maple “drop top” with a generous forearm contour. The maple top on this bass is my favorite style, and has been seasoning for over 25 years, waiting to become a special instrument. The “broken” flame pattern is very natural looking, with great character….plus it has some nice little brown streaks in it. The 30” scale mahogany neck has a lined Goncalo Alves fingerboard, and matching bridge. The combination of the mahogany neck and alder body, give this bass a full, warm, sonorous tone……..a custom form fit case is included.
