About This Listing

My 2001 Santa Cruz D/PWB upgraded with brazilian rosewood back and sides!

This guitar is absolutely killer! It’s bold, it’s loud, it’s clear but so perfectly balanced! The action is perfect as well as the condition of the frets.
I was able to buy the from many years ago, the pickupguard was removed by the previous owner. There is a light shade but I always preferred the non pickguard look.

I had a LR bags anthem installed and it comes with the guitar. So it will be a perfect Guitar for the studio as live!

it’s not a cheap guitar but ordering a new one will cost you +20k.

Comes with a hard shell case.

Product Overview
Known for its built-to-order custom options and consistent build quality, the Santa Cruz Guitar Company was formed by Richard Hoover and two partners in 1976. Standard features for the handful of models they offer are highly variable, as nearly half of all customers choose non-standard options on the guitars built for them. In this way, most Santa Cruz guitars can be considered "custom" models.

The Model D Pre-War takes the standard Model D dreadnought specs but uses enhanced pre-war type X-bracing for enhanced bass response. The details listed below are for the standard model, with price premiums for different options included. This price guide entry represents a range for an instrument without custom options.

Body Style: Dreadnaught

Wood Composition: Sitka Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides
