DOVE has been the top model in the Gibson acoustic lineup since the 1960s, along with the J-200. The sides and back are finished in solid cherry, but this spec is called "natural" for DOVE.
Original gold keystone tuners with Gibson logo and screws on the truss rod cover are also in gold.
Fixed saddle, large size bridge, and the original pickguard with the familiar pearl DOVE design inlaid on it, which was quite novel at the time, now reigns as the face of the acoustic guitar.
The punchy sound of the maple side and back is more intuitive than that of the jumbo body, and the player can enjoy the comfort of the so-called "ringing" sound.

The condition is dotted with dings, scrapes, buckle scratches, and weather checks that are commensurate with the age of the instrument.
There is a mark between the head logo and the crown inlay that looks like something was gouged.
A gold strap pin has been added to the neck heel, and the endpin has been replaced with a conversion pin.
This is a gem from the 90's that retains a small clean atmosphere.
