I have a well kept Carvin California carved top CS4 here. This one comes with it's deluxe tweed hardshell case.
This singlecut is is a beautiful example of a classic USA Custom Shop Carvin build. It's actually a slightly different animal then the current Kiesel carved top CS series.
It is a denser heavier guitar. This one has the feel and the heft of a 1990s era Les Paul. It weighs 9lbs 7 ounces.
The maple top is more like a full sized maple cap. It is thicker than what Kiesel tops guitars with nowadays.
The neck contour feels Very similar to what the last 10 years of Gibson Les Paul Traditional 50s style necks feel like. Not the chunky baseball thick historic style neck. But the modern "50s" style which is sorta a substantial but not an extreme rounded contour.
This one is in great shape.
