York Senator brass and nickel cornet serial number 527023, which probably  means manufacture in the 1970s or 1980s – no definitive information. The York company name was sold to Boosey & Hawkes sometime in the 1970s.    Beautiful brass and nickel finish in excellent condition.  A series of small dents along bell tube; otherwise, free of dents.  Second valve slide missing pull.  Some pitting to the valve plating (see photos for details)    Plays nicely and seems to have very good compression.  All caps turn freely and securely. Slides pull and valves rebound nicely, no dents in slide bends. Cleaned and lubed; felts renewed. Comes with Mt. Vernon Bach 7C mouthpiece, which is in very good condition with silverplate intact and no dings or nicks.  Hard case in good, functional condition.
