Early Fullerton, CA made Olds Ambassador brass cornet serial number 351453, which should mean manufacture between 1960 and 1962. Finish has multiple wear spots to lacquer, a lot of small owies and boo boos; no big dents; no red rot. Several re-soldered spots (see photos for details). Plays nicely and seems to have good compression. All caps turn freely and securely. Slides pull and valves rebound nicely, no dents in slide bends. Valves look very good. Cleaned and lubed. Comes with Mt. Vernon Bach 7C mouthpiece, which is in very good condition with silver plate intact and no dings or nicks. Original Olds hard case in good, functional condition. Great reputation and build like a battleship in the good old USA. Plays better than most modern made horns.
