Stella Grand Concert H1141 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar, made by Harmony in Chicago, with birch back and sides, poplar neck. A circa 1950's model with rosewood bridge and wooden nut. This is very hard to find Stella with the white pickguard. It's a Grand concert size H1141 - Stella Acoustic flattop, which were made from 1947-1966. The leading serial numbers, while present, are too difficult for me to read (photo included). I can clearly read H 1141 to confirm the model, however.

The original nickel tailpiece and floating bridge have been replace with a through pin bridge type, similar to what would have been on Harmony 1203. The 3 holes where the tailpiece were fasten have been plugged, but you can see them if you look carefully for them to confirm the model! It has also been refinished, likely sometime in the 1960s, with "Robert Colebank" typed into the soundhole. Has relatively minor wear with some dings throughout and a small crack on the lower bout on the side (pictured) that appears to be stable. The fittings are very basic including the simplest post-war Waverly strip tuners, screwed-on pickguard. Will need a neck reset to be thoroughly enjoyed, but has a great bluesy feel and tons of mojo! No case included -- will come very well packed and boxed for shipment.
