Important Note: This service is exclusively for customers who already possess an Echoplex tape cartridge that requires rewinding due to worn-out or broken tape. Please note that you will need to send in your tape for this service. Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to refill old metal cartridges that don't have tape on them. However, if your metal cartridge does have tape on it, you are good to go.

Our refilling process entails using high-quality NOS Sony tape. The cost for each refill is $25, which includes return shipping (except tapes going back outside the USA. Please message us first). If you would like to have your tape(s) refilled, please message us first for details as this listing is simply an interface showing that we offer this service.

We strongly urge you to hold onto your old cartridges. If you have a Dunlop Echoplex cartridge, you'll be amazed by the improvement in sound quality when it is rewound with high-quality tape. Rewinding your cartridge will not only save you money, but it will also result in your EP-1, EP-2, EP-3, or EP-4 Echoplex sounding 100% better.

Based on my personal experience, when compared to a new Dunlop tape (as they are no longer manufactured), the echo produced by all three of my EP-3 models sounded richer, fuller, sustained better, had reduced noise, and had less warble after the first rewinding process.

Furthermore, we are equipped to refill plastic cartridges that don't have any tape in them. Additionally, we provide refilling services for Fulltone tapes and Fulltone ball bearing tapes as well.
