Gretsch Custom Shop Masterbuilt G6128-CS 1957 Duo Jet 2020 - Silver Black Paisley Relic

This is a hauntingly beautiful Stephen Stern Masterbuilt Gretsch Duo Jet from the Gretsch Custom Shop with a Silver/Black Paisley top. It is a relic'ed finish, so it has all of the checking, dings, scratches, hazing in areas, and so on that you would expect from a Gretsch Custom Shop Relic finish. The guitar has been played, but very well taken care of.

This one is pretty unusual as most of the other silver paisley ones I have seen have a black bust around the edges. This one is silver, which continues on the back, sides, and back of the neck. It has silver sparkle binding on the front of the body and sides of the neck. It also has a clear pickguard, which I think adds to the overall look.

Stephen Stern took over the reins of the Gretsch Custom shop in 2005 and recently retired from the Gretsch Custom Shop earlier this year.

It's a great playing guitar with a vintage feel. And of course, it has that Gretsch sound.
