The A model is McIlroy's mid-sized jumbo, also known as an auditorium-sized guitar. It's the brand's most popular format and extremely comfortable to play, producing a bright, airy tone with huge volume.
The spruce top is accompanied by a beautifully drawn Brazilian mahogany back and sides, with the ebony binding and the purfling of maple, pau ferro and rosewood providing the detailing. The rosette consists of rosewood, maple and Paua abalone.
The five-piece neck is made of mahogany and maple, and features an ebony fingerboard and headstock overlay. Here, too, the fabulous finish appeals to the imagination; Maple purfling is visible on the fingerboard and headstock, while the 12th fret is adorned with a beautiful Celtic abalone inlay.
The guitar comes in a Hiscox hardshell case.
