Lightly used, purchased new from Sweetwater, special edition finish. This is a really nice compressor/overdrive combo. If it had a 'low' compression setting for dealing with playing soft fingerpick styles on high output pickups I'd easily keep it. It's made for ordinary playing though so should suit about 99% of other players! Absolutely rips through gain pedals and can send your gain stages into huge saturation. I have a hunch this thing likes to live in lead tone/high gain applications (though it can go plenty subtle too). The tonal contouring as well as the little bit (or lots) of gain you can add make it massively versatile. Probably this could replace a lot of TS type pedals used in front of high gain amps and offer much more control. In home/headphone practice use I often had the compressor set very low (and wanted it lower), but live I'd probably have this thing always on and it would be incredible. I go back and forth on keeping it for just that reason. At 18V it sounds even better - internal switch for more gain. I just don't use compressors much when playing/noodling at home.
