Crucianelli Tonemaster Model 30V 1960s - Red Sparkle

Up for sale we have a 1960's Tonemaster Model 30V made in Italy by Crucianelli. These guitars can be found under many different brand names depending on who and where they were distributed and sold. The Tonemaster brand name was given by American distributer The Imperial Accordion Co. Chicago. This example is in very good used condition overall showing only minor cosmetic wear with light scratches around the body (really only visible on the black pickguard and the backside of the body) as well as some minor tarnishing on the metal parts. Aside from that the guitar is very well preserved with all original parts (to the best of our knowledge) and includes a hardshell case and vintage strap. The Model 30V features a 24 3/4" scale length, plywood chambered body with Red Sparkle and black celluloid wrapping, three single coil pickups with master volume and tone controls as well as 6 additional switches that provide a variety of tones, Vibrato tailpiece, bolt-on neck, 21-fret bound Rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlaid fret markers, bound headstock with Tonemaster badge and open gear tuning machines with pearloid buttons. The medium/chunky sized neck features a full round C-shape profile measuring .910" deep at the first fret and 1.03" deep at the ninth fret. Width at the nut measures 1 11/16". The original smaller frets are present and show only light play wear with lots of life left in them. The truss rod is accessible at the headstock and functions as it should.
