I’m selling a classic British valve amplifier half stack, a SIMMS WATTS AP100 MK 1 head + AP412 cabinet.
Classic British Valve Tone, 100 watt, EL34s
First produced series, very difficult to find in this state of maintenance, all original (as you can see from the photos), perfectly working.
Incredible head, built in the golden years of the English amplification.
Guitar / bass cabinet with Fane speakers, identical to a Hiwatt cabinet of the same time, in my opinion the best guitar cabinets on the market.
This is the ultimate British HI-FI head, a kind of Hiwatt DR103 mixed with a Marshall plexi, with a crazy headroom.
Favoured by many select artists including Mick Ronson ( David Bowie ) and the Arctic Monkeys.
