This custom Pearl Acrylic Free Floating snare was part of a complete matching drum set made for Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers for the bands 2011 world tour. This 5x14 model was an alternate and back up snare to the identical 6.5x14 version that was also used on the same tour.

The Red Hot Chilli Peppers asterisk logos appear to be engraved into the shells but are actually opaque transfers attached to the inside and visible through the clear acrylic shells.
The drum has been expertly cared for and remains in excellent condition. The photos tell all. Everything looks, works and sounds amazing!
