About This Listing

Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting...

A Vintage very RARE 1960's Silvertone Acoustic Guitar with a newer gigbag. These guitars were only made from 1963 thru 1970.. No date stamping in it.

I have sold many of these. My customers love them. We didn't have to do a neck reset on this one. The neck angle was already very good on it. Nice playing action on it!

Some player dings and scratches. One bang on the side. See pic 7. Otherwise, the frets are in great shape and it looks very very nice!

I like to think of this guitar as a giant Stella. It is all Birch like a Stella on Steroids. Huge woody sound made for the Blues or Folk Song Strumming. I had our Tech set this one up with his magic touch. Its a really cool guitar. Comes with the shown gigbag and its ready to go.

Heres some info from the Silvertone World Website. They have great info! Check them out…

The 641 was built by Harmony, and was nothing but the popular 615 with a larger, more 'modern' pickguard. A year after its introduction, it became the 1210, as Sears switched it (and every acoustic Silvertone) from a model number with a '6' prefix to one with a '12' prefix. There were a few late-era examples of the 1210 with slight cosmetic and other differences, but the 641/1210 carried on the sunburst mid-range acoustic banner into mid-1969, when the 'pumpkin-colored' 1211 took over.

Introduced:
Fall/Winter 1967 as the 641

Retired:
Spring/Summer 1969 as the 1210

All original parts on this one .. It looks cool… Typical dings and scratches from being around for 56 years now... The bridge is original as are the Open back Waverly tuners … She's all together! The frets are hardly used and its in really good shape...

Check out the really nice gigbag. Cool case for your cool guitar..

Sold as-is no returns as its Vintage and use. Thanks for respecting that.
