¾ Stella circa 1920

Scale is 22 3/16”

Length - 33 ¼”

Upper Bout - 8 5/8”

Lower Bout - 11 9/16”

Width - 3 ¼”

I believe I can safely call this guitar rare...

I asked Neil Harpe who wrote the “Stella book” if he has seen many of these, he said “2 maybe 3”.

Interesting voicing please view the short video recorded on iphone tuned standard EADGBE.

Work done to make it playable:

Fret board removed and neck planed,

Neck set,

Braces re-glued,

Original frets leveled and dressed,

back/side gaps re-glued,

(not sure if the bridge is original but it was not in the correct place),

Bridge plate filled

Bridge re-glued,

Bridge saddle slot filled with mahogany then rerouted,

new bone saddle.

Nut looks original

Crack in the side appears to be natural in the wood not from drying out.

Tuners are original and work great.

New Waverly snake wood bridge pins and end pin.

I can’t find a proper hard case but I have it now in a new parlor case and will include for and extra $115

******PRODUCT SPECS***The fret board is not rosewood as the listing says this must have been auto filled and I can't find where to change it. The fret board is stained "ebonized" lighter wood found on most Stellas from this era. The model # is not verified. The back and sides are birch.
