Vintage ,1962, Philco Portable Turn
table/record player with fold-out removable speakers. Model is
"Stereophonic, High Fidelity "
Number K-1526-121....Measures 24" wide, 21" deep ,and 9" High and fairly heavy.
Has 3 speakers total: 2 on sides are hinged and fold out, the 3rd is in the center of the cabinet.
Also has a built in TUBE AMPLIFIER , I replaced all 3 tubes with new set, Still NO AUDIO, so selling as is for parts or Repair, probable a simple fix, just don't have time to check out anymore'
Mechanically and electrically the turn table runs fine, nice and quite, no slippage and cycles the way it should when tested with a 33.
So it needs the audio repaired and I'm not capable of fixing...Not sure what it needs so time to go to someone who can fix.
Shows some wear and staining, could used good clean up.... but not too bad for over 50 yrs old !!
Will come with a couple extra tubes ( 50L6's)
