About This Listing

Heres an incredibly rare and cool National Archtop in a beautifully aged and original “Royal Blue“ finish. The guitar is all original and in excellent condition, with only minor cosmetic blemishes. The neck is in fantastic shape, it’s nice and straight while the frets have lots of life left. It plays incredibly well with low action, and no buzzing or issues to note. The neck angle is very good, and it is currently setup with just the right amount of relief. There are minor nicks, scratches, scuffs, and finish checking. The finish checking and patina has some swirling in the right light that is very interesting and cool looking. Overall in excellent plus condition for being nearly 75 years old.

The neck is nice and chunky and a true joy to play. The original pickup has a punchy, powerful, and has a raw bluesy tone. While acoustically it sounds wonderful, and is a great couch guitar. Comes with a non-original chipboard case or a soft gig bag.
