For sale is an extremely rare Fender Masterbuilt Jason Smith MICHAEL LANDAU 1968 Stratocaster - 3-tone Sunburst - built in December 2022

Jason Smith is the masterbuilder who was responsible for the prototpye of the Landau Strat, and has truly mastered the art of building this particular model (I previously owned the prototype as well, and spent a few years tracking another one of these down). Sad to see this one go, as it's one of the most magical strats I've ever played, seen and heard. Unfortunately I have to let it go at this time for personal reasons...my loss is your gain as this is a rare find.

The world-famous guitarist Michael Landau, who played for countless artists, including Michael Jackson, BB King, Pink Floyd, receives his signature model here, a very special Stratocaster from the Fender Custom Shop. In addition to the heavy relic look, what makes this guitar special is the pickups with the legendary Fat 50s pickups, the custom switching of the pickups (the first tone control goes to the neck and middle pickups, the second tone control for the treble spectrum of the bridge pickup ).
