The guitar has been kept in its case in a temperature and humidity controlled room at all times. The top is Adirondack Spruce with green select Abalone purfling and Curly Maple binding. The back and sides are made from the most beautifully book-matched set of Cocobolo that you will ever see.... no sapwood! BTW, the label inside the guitar is actually signed by Martin Simpson himself, not just some block printed "Martin Simpson Model" knockoff that you might find in other guitars listed on this site.
