Neck Details: Solid aluminum neck-through body design, with ebony fretboard, block inlays, and brass nut. The fretboard appears to have come loose and been reglued at one point. The fretboard and first fret inlay have some superficial cracks as well.

Electronics: Original Travis Bean pickups and electronics, with 3-way toggle selector switch and volume/tone controls for each pickup

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Travis Bean shows nice cosmetic wear from regular use over the decades. The glossy finish has many small dents, scratches, and chips, scattered evenly throughout the front, back, and sides. The solid aluminum core has various light scratches, and there are "X" scratches on the back of the headstock between the tuners.

Modifications/Repairs: The fretboard has been reglued.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with medium-low action and light neck relief, and sets up well with 10 gauge strings or lighter. The frets are medium height with minor play wear. The guitar has a low serial number, which dates it to between 1974 and 1976, likely 1975.
