The Dawner Prince Electronics Boonar furnishes your pedalboard with the sound of the Binson Echorec, with serious tube-like tone and lush repeats. Though it uses FETs instead of tubes in its signal path, careful attention was paid in the design to truly nail the sound of the vintage Echorecs and Dawner Prince really hit the bullseye on that front. The Drum Age control lets you dial through a huge range of sounds that emulate the modulation caused by aging heads on an original magnetic delay, and a bass/treble tone control lets you further dial in the sound of the repeats to hammer down the sound of old Binsons without having to cart around a fragile, finicky original.
