Up for sale is an Epiphone inspired by Gibson 1958 Korina Explorer in a Natural satin finish. The electronics have been play tested and working as they should. This one had some heel cracks around the neck joint that were sealed and repaired by our shop.(as pictured). It does have a good truss rod and still has the protective plastic on the pick guard and pickups. Very nice condition, may have some light surface scratching but in overall very nice clean condition. Will come with the vintage-inspired brown hardshell case with hot pink lining. The case has some scuffs on the top end of the case.


It has the word "Used" gently pressed into the back of the headstock and the serial number has been partially altered and given a new one per agreements with the manufacturer. This ensures you are getting a quality instrument that has been inspected, set up, repaired if needed, and ready to play upon arrival.

It brings authentic 1958 Explorer details to guitarists everywhere at a breakthrough price. It is also equipped with an Indian laurel fretboard and gold hardware. Why does this guitar have “used” on the back of the headstock? 

Sometimes the word "used" is lightly pressed into the back of the headstock and/or the serial number may be partially altered per manufacturer agreements.  For many, the "used" stamp is looked at as a sign of quality, giving confidence that a used instrument originating from MIRC has been properly set up and refurbished by a professional tech.

Shipping Policy

Free ground shipping within the continental USA. Items under $20 will have a $9.95 shipping charge. We do not offer international shipping.


We cannot ship to a PO Box. Orders require a physical mailing address to be processed.


All orders over $500 will be shipped with a direct Signature Requirement to ensure it is received. If the signature requirement is refused, the customer will assume responsibility for the package once it reaches the delivery address.


Orders are processed Monday through Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm CST. Shipments are prepared in the order that they are received. We make every effort to expedite orders as quickly as possible, but we cannot guarantee ship dates. Please allow up to 3 business days for tracking information.
