Introducing the Music Man Retro '70s StingRay Bass, a timeless classic with a legacy that dates back to its debut in 1976. The StingRay has earned its place as one of the most iconic bass guitars in history, known for its pioneering onboard active equalisation. As the flagship of the Music Man line, the modern StingRay still embodies the signature features that made it legendary four decades ago. Here's what you can expect from this remarkable instrument:

Solid Build: Crafted with a solid Ash body and finished with a high-gloss polyester coating, this bass guitar is not only visually striking but built to withstand the demands of the road. Its construction ensures reliability and durability, making it ideal for musicians who need a robust instrument.

Classic Design: The StingRay maintains its iconic oval pickguard, 3+1 tuning key configuration, and the beloved Music Man humbucker. These elements work in harmony to deliver a distinctive look, a comfortable feel, and a sound that's truly unmistakable.

Retro '70s Inspiration: Honouring the craftsmanship of 1970s American bass guitars, this StingRay features classic-inspired components, including a yellow-tinted high-gloss maple bolt-on neck. The "D" neck profile, 7.5" fretboard radius, and 21 nickel silver frets provide a comfortably vintage playing experience.

Powerful Sound: Equipped with a vintage-style Alnico humbucker, this bass guitar boasts long Alnico 5 magnets and is wound with original single poly-nylon wire. The 2-band active EQ gives you control over bass and treble frequencies, allowing you to shape your tone to perfection.

Dependable Hardware: The Retro '70s StingRay Bass is fitted with a pre-Ernie Ball Geometry Music Man bridge and vintage stainless steel saddles, known for their resistance to wear and sweat. Schaller Bass machine heads ensure precise tuning stability.
