This is a vintage professional R16 3/4 grenadilla wood Bb clarinet, made by Buffet Crampon in the 1940s.
It has the features listed below:
• 20 keys
• 7 rings
• Articulated C#/G#
• Left hand Ab/Eb lever
• Forked Bb and forked Eb
• Original case
No chips or cracks, plays well, and is in great condition (pads included, though keys and tenon rings could use a polish - reflected in the price, as well as the case condition). Made in France, SN 33xxx. Does not come with mouthpiece or swab. Great for a player or collector. This is not a high or low pitch clarinet and can be played with modern ensembles.
