1940's era AMERICAN D9T Dynamic dual-element Microphone w/stand & cable

Offering a stunning vintage 1940's D9T microphone from American Microphone Company. Located in Pasadena, the heart of the Hollywood area in California, these D9's, from my perspective, have one of the most unique and eye-appealing designs ever. The D9 was a big hit for the company and they continued turning out high quality and modern styles from the 30's through the mid 50's. In 1955 Elgin Watch Company took over the company and even continued selling the D9's for awhile under their own brand. But this one is from the original production run, with the American Microphone D9T aluminum badge riveted to the body. 
The D9T's were uniquely outfitted with two dynamic elements...one of them was dead so we replaced it, and now this mic's audio quality was been greatly improved with strong output as well. Physically, the aluminum casing is generally in good shape, stainless steel side thumbnuts and fabricated aluminum yoke. These D9's are delicate mics, so should not be handled roughly. Has the original 3 pin connector on the mic side, and we're including a 5' cable with male XLR on the opposing end. ** Audio sample can be sent upon request. Always safe secure packaging and fast fair shipping, plus we offer combined shipping. **
