About This Listing

1980s Harmony H75-MR solid body electric bass in a metallic red finish. This instrument is a great contender to the ever versatile Fender PJ bass. This bass features an alder body with a set of P-style pickups and a single coil J-style pickup closer to the bridge. The pickups and the instrument portray a very low, round, thunderous tone. The electronics have been worked on and all pickups, knobs, pots, and jack are in working, functioning condition. There is a volume control for the P pickups, a volume control for the J pickup, and a master tone. The neck is maple with a rosewood fingerboard, block inlays, and bound with cream binding. The neck has a very vintage feel to it with a wide C shape and a 7.25" radius. There were two tearouts on the 19th/20th frets that have been filled, sanded, and smoothed and can't be noticed at all when playing the instrument. The frets have been cleaned/polished and the fingerboard has been treated. The scale length for this bass is 34". All of the hardware has been cleaned. A new thumb rest and pickup cover have been added to this bass. Two new saddles were added for the D and G strings. The body and head stock feature a lot of wear, scratches, and some paint chips. This instrument has had its truss rod adjusted for the neck to be straight, string height set for optimal playing ability for all 20 frets, and intonation is set. The neck has been shimmed about 15-20 degrees. A roadrunner gig bag is included with this instrument.
