About This Listing

The original Rosewood Telecaster was built as a prototype for George Harrison in 1968 and quickly became one of the most iconic guitars of all time. This model is one of the earlier Japanese re-issues from 1986 (production started on these in '83).

This particular instrument is in very good condition and is part of a larger collection of Fender guitars on consignment with us from one of Perth's biggest collectors. There is one very light scratch on the body, just above the pickguard screw that is between the neck and bridge pickup and a couple of extremely light marks on the back of the guitar. There is some very light wear on the edges of the fingerboard on the bass and treble side of the 7th fret, and a small little indentation near the 4th fret, but overall the guitar presents in very good/excellent condition.

The guitar comes with the case as pictured here and weighs in at 4.1KG's (on the lighter side for this model). If you have any questions please don't hesitate to give us a call or send us an email.
