This is a Lyon and Healy/Washburn circa 1900 Parlor Guitar. It has a serial number, though I have never been able to track down any information pertaining to the serial number. The heritage is speculated.
This guitar is in excellent shape, and set up for playing with steel strings. Nut width is a huge 1 7/8". I love it! It has a tail piece and floating bridge. Its a spruce top with mahogany back and sides. Rosewood fretboard and rosewood/ebony bridge. Looks like a Mahogany neck, as well. This guitar weighs almost nothing. It's got huge projection and more mojo than you can shake a stick at. You can hear every one of the 120+ years this beauty has lived. As soon as you pick it up, you'll hear your train-a-comin'.
This baby has had a neck reset, and the action is good! About 2mm at 12th fret on 6th string. It's very playable and sounds great!
