Westbury Track IV 80s Bass Japan Matsoumoku

Here I am offering this beautiful Matsoumoku Japan bass - the Westbury Track 4! The bass has been professionally set up and the electronics were renewed a few years ago - except the excellent original vintage Dimarzio Model P pickups. These pickups have high output and great growl - the all-maple body and neck certainly add to this. This bass is really versatile - you can choose any combination of the pickups in series or parallel by way of the switching system. It sounds wonderful with any kind of distortion - a real rock bass, especially with both pickups on. Then again, you can switch to the neck pickup and get a great, thumpy, Motown-esque sound. I upgraded the stock bridge to a Babicz Full Contact, so now the bass is truly reliable and road-worthy. This also increased the resonance and sustain. A real gem!
