For reluctant sale my unique handmade Badger Moon octave mandolin banjo, hand carved in Cornwall from cherry wood and maple, and tuned low GDAE with standard Daddario Mandola strings on a short mandolin friendly 17.5” scale.
The shorter scale makes it much easier to get to grips with the dual courses. She’s easy to adapt to and you can really hear the huge joyous sound she makes here, much louder and more resonant than a standard octave mandolin for sessioning:

Comes with a beautiful hand pained screw on / off detachable resonator, a quality leather strap and a solid hard case. This is a used banjo (was my main session instrument for over a year) with some signs of cosmetic wear but no major marks or damage to spoil your enjoyment.
The neck and setup is fully adjustable, I currently have the action a little over 2mm as I like to play with quite a heavy hand.
Buy with confidence - I will accept returns if buyer pays return postage. Also available to demo in the Leeds area by prior arrangement - contact me.
