1974 Hayman 1010H
I understand that there were something like 50 triple humbucker models (1010H) made so they are rare.
You will notice that the paint has crazed over time, it is completely original and that's how the paint often went on these Haymans. Some owners strip them or re-paint them but they are only original once and being 40 years old it is now quite a vintage piece.
The two control pots are also pull-out switches when in the middle pickup position, I don't remember if this is coil tapping or some sort of phase change. The 3-position pickup selector switch needs a clean, when you go to the neck pickup position you need to move the switch slightly to get sound.
Original Grover machines (the best!), string trees and the Hayman H perspex are all there.
Haymans left the factory in a zip-up vinyl 'gimp suit' and the dealers often discarded these and put the guitars in hard cases. This one has what could be that dealer case. It's shabby and worn out but provides a suitably patinated historic companion for the Hayman.
The neck is excellent and fret wear is mild.
Having had appalling experiences with couriers (!!!), collection is from Ilfracombe harbour (North Devon) but I do sometimes drive from Devon to London so it might be possible for me to deliver it. In either case I'd request a prior payment through Reverb as this is safe for both of us.
