This is a Fender SRV from 1992

Neck serial E9 (1989) - which according to other models I see that are being sold online currently, this guitar is one of the oldest (earliest manufactured serial) available. Serial starts with 9093XX

The inside stamp says: May 1992

OG Texas special pickups were replaced (not included in the sale) with Bare Knuckle Pickups (Pat 63’ Veneer board) set, including BK tone capacitor.

Full refret, Relic job and setup by Eli Guitar Tech - Los Angeles, CA.

The original SRV pickguard is included in the sale.

Original Fender tweed hard case is included, as well.

This guitar has been played a lot, recorded a lot, toured a lot and seen a lot.
Please see the pictures attached for the current condition, look and cosmetic changes.

There's plenty of info about John Mayer owning a guitar similar to this one, which got him through his time at Berkley College Of Music and his early years as an artist. A guitar that heavily inspired him and his current signature models and a guitar he still keeps in his arsenal to this day.

Oh and one last thing... I've been contacted multiple times regarding the fretboard for it potentially being either PF or BR and from my understanding, there's no actual proof for anyone having clear and official paperwork from Fender stating that some necks from the 1992 era were made with BR as a fact. So I'm not even going to get into the argument of precisely what it is because I don't care...

It's a killer guitar from 1992.

It got THE mojo. Got the looks. It feels incredible and sounds UNREAL.

If you want it? it's yours (:

Cheers
