The Gibson (E)lectric (S)panish model ES-335 is a classic of the semi-acoustic thinline design and has long since matured into a timeless icon. Reason enough for Gibson to create an aesthetic reissue model of the ES-335 with meticulousness and great attention to detail, which comes close to the quality and sound standards of the best originals of the time.
In addition to the regular "Dot" variant, Gibson also produces a "Figured" version with a figured maple top and back. Shown here in the shade "Antique Natural". The bracing is made of "Quarter Sawn Adirondack Spruce", the center block is made of maple. The one-piece mahogany neck in "Rounded C" format and a rosewood fretboard with "small block" inlays are excellent for playing. The calibrated T-Type pickups, which clearly carry the genes of the early P.A.F. Carrying humbuckers promise top-class sound quality! Almost created for jazz, blues and rock.
