WORKING CONDITION: Very Good - This mixer is in very good working condition. The unit powers on and remains stable throughout use. All channels are passing signal and all parameters are functional, except for channel 3, which does not pass signal and exhibits an audible hum. The EQ works well, as do the "Bright" and "Deep" tone options. The VU meter is not active or working per our test. However, overall this mixer is in very good working condition.
PHYSICAL CONDITION: Very Good - This is a rare microphone mixer custom-built by the infamous amp builder Howard Dumble. Considering that this is a vintage item, there are some signs of wear. There are notable scuffs and abrasions around the device. Some of the metal parts are slightly oxidized as well. Otherwise, everything is solidly built, intact, and in very good physical condition.
The original power cable, a potentiometer, original tubes, VU Meter, and a single capacitor have been replaced in this unit. All of these original parts are included with the same and can be seen in the bag in the photos. No other work was done on this unit and it remains original.

While Howard Alexander Dumble is best known for building custom guitar amplifiers, he did on rare occasions build other custom audio and recording devices for his clients. This item represents something we've never seen or heard about that has come out of the great Dumbleland. This might be a perfect studio compliment for someone who wants some Dumble Tube Magic added to their signal chain.
