Don't miss out on this RARE 24" x 15" Pearl bass drum that just arrived to me from a friend who was recently signed with a new drum company and so is cleaning out his studio.
This is in pristine condition! There are no dings, dents, scrapes, worm holes, rust, corrosion or anything else! Would be mint condition but there are a few swirl marks in the piano black lacquer that cannot be captured on camera, but I want to be sure to fully disclose any imperfections in my listings.
I included a few pics of the wood bass drum hoops to show that there are no nicks or dings.
This was babied. And the sound is next level. Made in the same factory as the Masters series, and has the same lacquer finish the masters series. It has a 7.5mm 6 ply birch/kapur shell is perfect for recording or live settings. This line was replaced with the studio select series, but IMO, the classic series is better than the studio select line as far as sound and looks goes since the studio select line only offer wraps instead of lacquer. To me, a wrap just doesn't sound or look as good as a lacquer finish.
It includes a kickport air vent that can be removed if you like. It has Remo heads and an Evans falam (double bass pedal) pad.
