Made in Japan.

I took some pictures with the flash and some without to help give an idea of the actual paint hue. The finish seems to have aged very little over the years.
This guitar has a nice flame pattern on the back of the neck, shown in images 14, 15, and 21.
L. White humbucker pickups.
Tremolo bar is included.
Allen wrenches for the tremolo and locking nut are held onto the back of the headstock by magnets, an innovative feature I've never seen before (Image 22).
This is a professional quality vintage instrument from the golden age of Japanese guitar manufacturing. Tokai is a legendary company, and this guitar is one of the best examples of their craftsmanship I've ever seen. You can see the artistry, and you can feel the mastery and care that went into building it. The guitar is fantastic to play. The L. White pickups provide ample power and articulation. The electronics are fully functional and operate quietly. The frets show light wear, but nothing egregious (Images 11 and 12). The previous owner took such good care of this guitar that all I had to do before listing was wipe it down.
Cosmetically, there are some blemishes/discoloration on the mirrored pickguard, a few small nicks and dents on the body, and some tarnish on the gold hardware. All of these imperfections are depicted in the images, so be sure to view the whole set. There really wasn't anything worth specifically focusing on, so the images should be considered part of the description, as they do a good job of representing the overall cosmetic condition.
