"This is one of my own axes i built for myself, it's been played a while and may have blems, polishing swirl marks, scratches (nothing major), imperfections etc.
It is an amazing guitar with a great neck, i'm only selling it because i'm thinning the herd, if it doesn't sell that's fine with me.
The center is raised and is actually painted black and clearcoated and then sanded to a matte type finish as is the back control plate, i did this to give it a grey looking contrast. i could have buffed it to a gloss but then the raised center portion would not have stood out in contrast as much.
The rest of it is buffed to a gloss finish.
This guitar is by far one of my very favorites i have ever built."
