All solid wood classical guitar for the late intermediate to early advanced classical guitarist. The solid spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back/sides yield the beautiful, bright, traditional classical guitar sound with great clarity of the notes. The P628S has a 628mm scale length and 50mm nut width. 

Master luthier Kenny Hill designed the Player series guitars with Spanish cedar necks, ebony fretboards, beautiful rosettes and natural wood purfling. The dual action truss rod offers stability to the neck and ease of adjustments with the action.

This guitar was built in 2017. I purchased this guitar in mid 2023 from a dealer, and have kept it in a humidity controlled wooden display case. I'm selling because I've upgraded to a luthier built double-top.

Although there is some play wear visible, it looks very good with no major blemishes, showing light scratches or scuffs mainly on the back and tiny dings here and there, and a string ding below the E string tie block . The previous owner had strap buttons installed and I guess the guitar was played standing up which would account for the minor scratches and light scuffs on the back.

There are no cracks or structural issues.

The action is set ultra low for a classical and plays like a hot knife through butter.

The solid Spruce top has a very silky tight grain (obviously a high grade), the back and sides are solid Indian Rosewood, and the fingerboard is Ebony.

This unit has sound ports making for an enhanced playing experience.

Included is a $100 Raimundo arm rest.

It comes with a perfectly fitting plush lined arch-top hardshell case in good condition. There is some wear on the top of the case as shown in one of the pics.

These guitars (ported option) are selling now for $2495 new.
